For those of you who keep up with all the latest Infiniti news either on our blog, or other sites around the web, you may have noticed that most of the recent news has been dedicated to the new Infiniti Q50 sedan which recently began full-scale production in the company's home country of Japan. We have been following this model's evolution very closely and today we want to tell you about a very special test drive taken by Infiniti President, Johan de Nysschen.
Last month, de Nysschen and his pal Carlos Ghosn (CEO of Nissan) were able to get behind the wheel of a brand-new Q50 that was hot off the assembly line. They took this new Infiniti model for a spin at the company's Tochigi Proving Ground and then spoke about their experiences.
Carlos Ghosn had a lot to say about the test drive in the Q50 and Q50 Hybrid. He commented, "I think both the gasoline engine and the hybrid perform very well. The acceleration, the stability, the power, the flat ride, the comfort -- I would say even the noise comfort of the car -- the breaking makes you feel very safe, very powerful, very progressive. I liked the experience quite a lot. Obviously, the hybrid drives like a kind of sports car, a sports version of the Q50."1
There is still a long road ahead for the Q50 as it makes its way to our inventory of new and used Infiniti vehicles here at Kuni Westside Infiniti.
